Today’s major accomplishment was accompanying my Mom to her annual visit with her Primary Care Provider. She passed all test, responses and health questionnaires with flying colors. My Mom is fine; she is very well taken care of –by me!
Once again, I was struck by the differences in responses to the Health Questionnaire between my Mother and myself. At the end of the survey, my Mother was laughing hysterically as she found the questions quite amusing; while I was struggling not to shed a tear or fall into a slight depression.
It’s important that as Caregivers we take better care of ourselves. But how? When? If I knew that, my answers on the aforementioned questionnaire would be entirely different.
